Italian Herb Blend

    A great herb blend you can use in almost anything! Stored in an airtight container it keeps for about 12 weeks. You can use fresh herbs you dry yourself, or store bought dried herbs - of course, the ones you grow and dry yourself are better!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 10 

    • 2 tablespoons dried basil
    • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
    • 2 tablespoons dried rosemary
    • 2 tablespoons dried marjoram
    • 2 tablespoons dried coriander
    • 2 tablespoons dried thyme
    • 2 tablespoons chilli flakes

    Directions
    Preparation:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

    1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is achieved.

    No need for the food processor. I put this mix into an empty aldi spice jar / grinder that used to have their herbs d'provence mix in it. This way, the mix is fresh ground whenever I need it.  -  15 Feb 2010  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

    Great recipe! I love when you can mix up seasonings vs. buying them. I put this into my mini food processor and let it go. I left out the red pepper flakes because I always add that to taste in my recipes.
