Refreshing Melon Smoothie

    This is perfect for when melons are in season. It's a great breakfast or afternoon snack and very healthy. Kids love to help make and consume!

    Serves: 4 

    • 1/4 rockmelon, peeled, seeded and diced
    • 1/4 honeydew melon, peeled, seeded and diced
    • juice of 1 lime
    • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

    1. In a blender, combine rockmelon, honeydew, lime juice and optional sugar. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

    Used different ingredients. Good stuff. I used bottled lime juice and frozen melon balls. As a result, my smoothie was slushy and thick. Yum.  -  29 Sep 2008


    Altered ingredient amounts. Yum Yum Yum!! Do to lack of ingredients though, I used double the cantoluope (no honeydew) and frozen limeade (no limes). Still great though!! Will make again  -  29 Sep 2008
