    Here's a recipe for lovely sticky almond biscuits. They tend to spread out on the baking tray so make sure you space them well apart.

    Serves: 36 

    • 85g butter
    • 1 cup (150g) rolled oats
    • 2/3 cup (150g) white sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon ground almonds
    • 1 tablespoon plain flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder

    1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C.
    2. Melt the butter and pour it immediately over the oats. Let the mixture cool down.
    3. Add the sugar, the lightly whipped egg and the ground almond to the oat mixture. Combine the flour with the baking powder and then stir into the dough.
    4. Drop by spoonfuls onto oiled baking trays. Bake the biscuits in the middle of the oven for about 6 minutes.
