    These are not your average muesli bar. Try this delicious combination of seeds, oats and chocolate the next time you need a healthy energy boost.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 24 

    • 3 1/2 cups (500g) quick cooking oats
    • 3/4 cup raisins
    • 2/3 cup sunflower seeds
    • 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
    • 1/2 cup wheatgerm
    • 1/2 cup bran
    • 3 tablespoons linseeds
    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
    • 1 cup honey
    • 65g melted butter
    • 250g dark chocolate chips, melted

    Directions

    1. Preheat an oven to 180 degrees C. Line a 20x30cm pan with aluminium foil.
    2. Combine the oatmeal, raisins, sunflower seeds, wheatgerm, oat bran, linseeds, cinnamon and salt in the bowl of a mixer. Mix in peanut butter, honey and melted butter. Press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Spread the melted chocolate chips over top; refrigerate until hard, about 30 minutes. Cut into bars.
