Spicy n' Hot Mango Salsa

    40 minutes

Hot, spicy and sweet; this summery mango salsa made with barbecued onion, fresh coriander and hot chilli peppers is great with fish or pork chops, or simply with tortilla chips. If habanero chillies are not available, use dried red chilli flakes or finely chopped small red chillies to suit your taste.

    10 people made this

    • 1 red onion, peeled and halved
    • 12 mangoes, peeled, seeded and diced

    • 2-3 small hot chillis, seeded and very finely chopped
    • 1 bunch fresh coriander, rinsed and chopped
    • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

This is a real crowd pleaser and always the first to go at our barbeques and pool parties. I omit the habanero peppers because the kids don’t like them but it is still fantastic.  -  08 Jun 2012  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
