Ham and Garlic Spaghetti

A simple and delectable pasta dinner. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, toss with olive oil and serve with French bread, if desired.


Serves: 4 

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 500g fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 500g chopped broccoli
  • 185g black olives
  • 12 slices ham, chopped

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large frypan over medium heat melt butter and add garlic, onion, mushrooms, broccoli, olives and ham. Saute mixture until onions are translucent.
  3. In a large bowl toss cooked spaghetti with vegetable mixture.
