Coleslaw is a great side dish for a backyard barbecue and here's a great way to jazz it up with Asian flavours. Very easy to make.
1 packet instant beef flavoured noodles, with seasoning packet
90g roasted sunflower seed kernels
90g sliced almonds
1 bunch spring onions, chopped
1 cup vinaigrette salad dressing
1/2 cup (125g) white sugar
500g prepackaged coleslaw mix
Extra time:1hour chilling ›
- Crush the instant noodles in a bowl and stir in the beef seasoning packet, sunflower seeds, almonds, spring onions, salad dressing and sugar, mixing until the sugar is dissolved.
- Place the coleslaw mix into a large salad bowl, pour the dressing mixture over, and toss lightly to combine well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
