Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies

    These chocolate chip cookies will be irresistible to true chocolate lovers. They have three kinds of chocolate chips, dark, milk and white.

    Makes: 36 cookies

    • 250g butter
    • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
    • 3/4 cup white sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 2 3/4 cups plain flour
    • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
    • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
    • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
    • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Mix in the eggs one at a time then stir in the vanilla.
    3. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder and bicarb soda then stir into the butter mixture until well blended. Mix in the dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips so they are evenly distributed. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking trays.
    4. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until tops are no longer shiny.

    Pretty good! Easy to make and my boyfriend LOVED them. I thought they were pretty good, but didn't like them as much as he did. Surprisingly, an airier texture and not as sweet as you would expect. I didn't have the hard candies, but otherwise made as specified.
