Cauliflower and Pea Masala

    Gobi mutter masala is a vegetarian Indian dish of sauteed peas and cauliflower. They are seasoned with salt, cumin seed and mustard seeds. Enjoy with rice.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon mustard seed
    • 2 cups (300g) frozen peas
    • 2 cups (200g) cauliflower florets
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the cumin seeds and mustard seeds in the hot oil. Cook and stir until the seeds begin to pop. Mix in the peas and cauliflower. Season with salt. Reduce heat to low, cover then continue cooking for 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

    Used different ingredients. you forgot to put any masala in it.... with littlebit of garam masala and peprika poweder, it will taste like an indian gobi.. cauliflower..  -  29 Sep 2008
