    This is my favourite bread! It is a bread machine recipe. You may substitute vegetable oil for linseed oil if desired.

    Serves: 12 

    • 1 cup (250ml) water
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons linseed or vegetable oil
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 2 teaspoons liquid lecithin
    • 3 cups (375g) wholemeal flour
    • 90g linseeds
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons bread flour
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons whey powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
    • 2 teaspoons dried yeast

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:3hours  ›  Ready in:3hours5min 

    1. Put all the ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select Wheat Cycle, and Start.

    Used different ingredients. I have made this recipe several times, and every loaf is consistently good. My family really likes it. I have even made it using plain flour instead with very nice results. - 14 Jul 2008
