This ring of ice cream and cake is really easy to make and people think you have spent hours on it. The better the quality of the ice cream the better the result.
1 angel food cake or sponge
2 litres strawberry ice cream

Take ice cream out of freezer to soften. It should be easy to spread but not melted.
Rip the angel food cake into pieces (about 5cm). Place a layer of cake on the bottom of one 25cm ring tins. Spread a layer of the softened ice cream on top. Repeat layers until cake and ice cream are gone.
Put the cake in the freezer for at least 2 to 3 hours. When ready to serve remove cake from freezer and place cake onto a serving dish, removing tin.
