    Called "Lomi Lomi" in Hawaiian, this smoked salmon salad features diced smoked salmon and ripe tomatoes tossed with onion, spring onion and cayenne.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 12 

    • 300g smoked salmon, diced
    • 6 medium tomatoes, diced
    • 1 onion, diced
    • handful diced spring onion
    • sea salt, to taste
    • cayenne, to taste

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Extra time:30min chilling  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. In a medium bowl, stir together the salmon, tomatoes, onion, spring onion, sea salt and cayenne. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve chilled.

    This recipe takes me home to the beach, with a kalua plate lunch. This recipe tastes best when allowed to sit in the fridge for a few hours to allow the flavours to merry. Onolicious, broke da mouth!! - 29 Sep 2008

    Excellent!!!!Never heard of this dish and had some smoke salmon to use and tried this recipe. Loved the flavours together. Just added a tad of coriander and it was great. Thanks - 29 Sep 2008
