I normally buy homemade patties but then I found these, so easy and with the magic ingredient of beer. Serve on a burger or with a side of salad.
Altered ingredient amounts. Take out a teaspoon of salt and add a teaspoon of paprika... adds depth of flavour! - 06 Mar 2011
Beer in the mixture = juicyness! Great idea. For a moment it looks like it won't take, and you just knead that beer in, and you end up with moist, sweet beef burgers. I used lean mince - the beer stops the patties drying out. Makes 4 large patties or 6 small patties. - 06 Mar 2011
I've been making this recipe for years and it's always been a hit. The only changes that I made was to omit the salt and sometimes use thyme and/or steak spice. I also add 1 egg so that the patties stay glued together while on the grill. Thanks for sharing. - 25 Jun 2010 (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
