Beef Salad with Onion and Capsicum

This is a simple and flavourful recipe for a beef topping for a green salad. It can also be served with rice or bread.


Serves: 4 

  • 1/2 cup (125ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green capsicum, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 500g chuck steak, cut into 1cm pieces

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large frypan over medium heat. Stir in soy sauce, onion and green capsicum. Cook 3 to 5 minutes until tender.
  2. Mix in steak. Cook 15 minutes stirring occasionally until evenly browned.
