    This is my favourite pasta bake which combines beef and cheese. My children request this often! Add more garlic if you like.

    Serves: 8 

    • 500g lean beef mince
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 800g tomato pasta sauce
    • 375g gravy
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) light cream
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil
    • 500g pasta
    • 120g grated mozzarella cheese

    Preparation:40min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:1hour10min 

    1. In a large frying pan, cook and stir beef mince until brown. Add garlic, tomato pasta sauce, gravy, cream, Parmesan cheese, oregano and basil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
    2. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente. Drain.
    3. Combine the cooked pasta and the sauce and spread into a greased 20x30cm baking dish. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
    4. Bake at 180 degrees C for 20 to 30 minutes, until bubbly.
