    Using shop bought ingredients like tortellini and Alfredo sauce you put your own spin on it with fresh ham, peas and mushrooms.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 250g fresh tortellini pasta
    • 1 slice ham
    • 500g frozen green peas
    • 250g fresh mushrooms, sliced
    • 500g Alfredo style pasta sauce

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Add the tortellini pasta to a large saucepan of boiling salted water. Let cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
    2. Heat a frypan to medium heat then add the ham, peas and mushrooms; toss together until heated through.
    3. Add the alfredo sauce and reserved tortellini. Stir all together then let simmer for 3 to 5 minutes and serve.

    This was good for a quick week night meal . I did adjust the amounts a bit and added 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese just to jazz up the jarred sauce a bit.  -  14 Jul 2001  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

    OK, I give this two stars because of the bottled alfredo sauce. I will NEVER buy that stuff again, its so gross. I definitley recommend making your own with this recipe. It ruined mine - BLECK!  -  24 Oct 2005  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
