    This is a quick dinner that creates an amazingly tasty mushroom, white wine and cream sauce. I serve with steamed vegetables or salad.

    Serves: 8 

    • 8 boneless pork chops
    • 1 pinch salt, to taste
    • 1 pinch ground black pepper, to taste
    • 3/4 cup (185ml) white wine
    • 3/4 cup (185ml) thickened cream
    • 3 tablespoons butter
    • 250g fresh mushrooms, sliced

    1. Melt butter in a large frypan over medium heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper then arrange in a single layer in frypan.
    2. Cook for 2 minutes on each side to brown.
    3. Pour in wine and continue cooking for 6 minutes. Remove chops from frypan.
    4. Pour cream into the frypan then add mushrooms.
    5. Increase heat to high; cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
    6. Return chops to pan to warm. Serve.
