Drunken Fruit Salad

    You cannot get a more colourful dessert that this fruit salad that includes apples, pears, persimmon and raspberried that are dressed with a kirsch and orange juice dressing.

    Serves: 6 

    • 2 apples
    • 2 pears
    • 1 persimmon fruit
    • 250g frozen raspberries
    • 4 tablespoons orange juice
    • 4 tablespoons kirsch (cherry brandy)

    1. Remove seeds from apples, pears and persimmon then cut into bite size pieces (not too small).
    2. Mix orange juice and kirsch then add to the fruit salad.
    3. Gently fold in the raspberries. It's best to fold raspberries in before they are completely defrosted so they don't turn into mush.
