Nutella Sandwiched Chocolate Biscuits

Moorish chocolate and walnut biscuits are made, baked and then sandwiched together with a Nutella filling ready for your next cup of coffee.


Makes: 50 

  • 2 cups (250g) plain flour
  • 1 cup (250g) caster sugar
  • 250g walnuts, diced
  • 200g chocolate, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 250g butter, diced
  • Nutella, as required
  • 100g icing sugar

  1. Mix flour with sugar, walnuts and chocolate. Form a hollow in the middle and crack the eggs into it. Add butter and knead the dough quickly. Place in a container with lid and chill for 2 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  3. Roll dough out and cut into crescents. Transfer to a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  5. Stick two moons together with Nutella.
  6. Mix icing sugar with a little cold water until smooth to create an icing. Spread over biscuits.
