Simple Almond Biscuits

This almond biscuit couldn't be any easier to make and they look great with a whole almond baked into the centre of each.


Serves: 10 

  • Biscuit
  • 200g marzipan
  • 75g almond meal
  • 1/2 cup (90g) icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • To Decorate
  • 35 whole almonds

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees C. Grease a baking tray.
  2. Crumble marzipan into a mixing bowl. Add almond meal, icing sugar and lemon juice. Work into a smooth dough.
  3. Roll the dough into small firm balls. Make a hollow in each ball with your finger and place an almond in it.
  4. Transfer to baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 20-30 minutes.
