Stir Fried Chinese Leaf Cabbage

    A simple side dish for your next Chinese spread. Chinese leaf cabbage is stir fried with chilli, ginger and spring onions.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 tablespoons oil
    • 2cm piece ginger, sliced
    • 2 spring onions, cut into 2.5cm pieces
    • 200g Chinese leaf cabbage, finely diced
    • 80g seeded green chilli, julienned
    • soy sauce, to taste
    • salt, to taste

    1. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Add the ginger and spring onions then stir fry until fragrant; about 2-3 minutes.
    2. Add the cabbage and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
    3. Add the green chilli and soy sauce then stir fry for about 1-2 minutes.
    4. Season with the salt to your taste. Serve
