An easy Chinese side dish pickled mustard greens are combined with bean sprouts and spring onions in a stir fry.


Serves: 2 

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 200g bean sprouts
  • 350g sour pickled mustard greens, finely sliced
  • 4 spring onions, cut into 2.5cm pieces
  • 75ml water
  • fish sauce, to taste

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

  1. Heat a large frying pan with 1 tablespoon oil over high heat. Stir fry the bean sprouts for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add and stir fry the pickled mustard greens and spring onions for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add water, cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Season with fish sauce before serving.


Sour pickled mustard greens can be purchased in vacuum packed packets in Asian specialty shops or online.
