Sometimes simplicity creates the best food. This is an easy ham roll using a baguette and cornicons. A common lunch box favourite in our house.
1/2 of a crusty baguette
1 slice of cooked ham
sea salted butter, to taste
5 cornichons or small gherkins, sliced
- Cut the baguette in half lengthways and butter each half.
- Cut ham to fit baguette.
- Add cornichons and close baguette.
