This is a basic pasta bake that uses a custard style sauce rather than the traditional white sauce. It is ideal for turning leftover pasta into a tasty side dish.


Serves: 4 

  • 30g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 25g plain flour
  • 100ml milk
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • ground nutmeg, to taste
  • leftover pasta

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Butter a baking dish.
  2. Mix together the eggs and flour in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg; stir well.
  4. Place egg mixture and leftover pasta into prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
