This is the perfect way to cook scallops but to get the best results you need the freshest scallops you can find.


Serves: 4 

  • 12 scallops
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:4min  ›  Ready in:14min 

  1. Heat a cast iron pan or a heavy-based frying pan over high heat. (Do not add any oil).
  2. Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
  3. When the pan is really hot, add the scallops.
  4. Remove from the heat. (The hot pan will be enough to cook the scallops).
  5. Turn the scallops over after 1 minute.
