An unexpected favourite this Chinese style savoury pork omelette is great as a lunch meal or side dish in a multi dish Chinese meal.


Serves: 2 

  • 2 eggs
  • 250g pork mince
  • salt, to taste
  • ground white pepper, to taste
  • sesame oil, to taste
  • cooking oil, as needed

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Whisk the eggs in a big bowl. Add the minced pork, salt, white pepper and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan there being enough to just cover the bottom then heat.
  3. Add the egg mixture. Swirl the frying pan to cover the bottom evenly with the egg mixture.
  4. Fry one side until golden brown then flip and cook the other side. Transfer to a plate and serve.
