A delightful way to present fresh prawns which is quick and simple to make. Prawns are stir fried in a gingery soy sauce. Serve with rice.

The recipe was SO outstanding! I don't usually cook prawns with shell on when not on the grill, but I found that this stir fry with the shell on does the same thing -- preserves the flavor and keeps the prawn juicy! Loved the sauce -- so simple and so tasty. My entire family, including two picky teenagers, really felt that this recipe is restaurant worthy. I did a couple of things differently -- used less oil, and instead of removing the prawns, added the spring onions to the mix and used powdered ginger instead of fresh ginger (added to taste).
