Chilled Ginger Prawns

These prawns are the perfect appetizer or snack with a cocktail and are prepared ahead of time. Wooden skewers make them easier to serve.


Serves: 6 

  • 500g king prawns, shelled and cooked
  • 1/3 bunch fresh coriander
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, cut into small dice
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

  1. In a medium bowl (or a resealable plastic bag), add all the ingredients and mix well. Cover the bowl with cling wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve cold.
