Mint sauce is the natural accompaniment to lamb and because mint is sweet it requires no extra sugar - unless you insist on it!
This is the mint sauce I have been looking for, for a long time. It was perfect with the roasted rack of lamb. I did add a good amount of sugar. It turned out perfect. I will use this a lot now. Thank you for putting it on. - 29 Sep 2008
A small amount of boiling water poured over the mint brings out the flavour - then add the vinegar and a little sugar. - 05 Jun 2012
Altered ingredient amounts. Definitely way too tart as is and also very runny. I added another tbsp of mint and about a tsp of sugar. With these changes was much more like what I remember my step mum making when I was a child. Thanks - 29 Sep 2008
