Stewed fruits are a wonderful dessert and this simple stewed rhubarb is no exception. Depending on the rhubarb you may need to add a little more sugar.
600g unpeeled rhubarb
60g brown sugar
- Wash the rhubarb and cut into 1 to 2 cm slices.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the rhubarb and sugar. Cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes. Stir regularly.
- Serve the rhubarb with creme fraiche or whipped cream.
