Stewed Rhubarb

    Stewed fruits are a wonderful dessert and this simple stewed rhubarb is no exception. Depending on the rhubarb you may need to add a little more sugar.

    Serves: 4 

    • 600g unpeeled rhubarb
    • 10g butter
    • 60g brown sugar

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Wash the rhubarb and cut into 1 to 2 cm slices.
    2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the rhubarb and sugar. Cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes. Stir regularly.
    3. Serve the rhubarb with creme fraiche or whipped cream.
