Although nectarine jam is a beautiful alternative to the sweet berry ones it is harder to buy; so I make it myself.
Very easy to make and a lovely aroma and flavour, used regular granulated sugar, added the juice and zest of two lemons as my nectarines were ripe. Reached setting point around fifteen to twenty minutes. Perfect!
