OMG worth while doing this recipe soft fluffy and I have no mixmaster just a hand whisk, Yummy hope my family loves them too..............  -  07 Aug 2015

I was surprised with the quantity of cocoa, that's 1 1/4 cups, but the flavour was fabulous. Not too chocolaty, not too sweet. The kids loved them, and loved making them. I needed them light & fluffy for all the kids so used the mixmaster. I can't wait to make them the way the recipe says (I'm assuming it's more like a mud cupcake) but that will be the adult version! This recipe is a keeper!  -  22 Oct 2010

Something else. I creamed the butter & sugar till light & fluffy, then added eggs one at a time beating in between each egg, then beat in cream, then milk. Gotta love that Mixmaster! This made for light fluffy cupcakes..... 30 of them! Following the recipe probably makes chocolate mud cupcakes, I'll try that next time... and there will be a next time!  -  22 Oct 2010
