Make a batter from the butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Add the milk and the flour mixed with baking powder.
Grease a springform tin and fill it with half of the batter. Mix the remaining batter with the Nutella and spread it over the original batter in the tin. Drain the cherries and distribute them over the batter.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and bake the cake for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Cream: Whisk the cream with vanilla. In another bowl stir the cream cheese with vanilla essence and fold into the whipped cream. Spread the cream mixture over the cooled cake and allow to set for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Glaze: Make the glaze with sour cherry juice and pour over the cake. Place in the fridge again.
