Simplicity can often create the best meals and this is a great example, it is basically chanterelle mushrooms sautéed with bacon.


Serves: 4 

  • 500g fresh chanterelle, cleaned
  • 50g lean bacon
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 15g butter
  • 1 pinch salt and freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 sprigs parsley, diced

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Season with salt and pepper then sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan and sauté the bacon and onion until translucent.
  3. Cut large chanterelle down the middle. Simmer for 10 minutes in an open frying pan until the liquid has completely boiled off.
