Yoghurt and Pear Ice Cream

    This is a delightful yoghurt ice cream that features pears and cinnamon, it is a healthy sweat treat.

    Serves: 8 

    • 1 (400g) tin pear halves
    • 500g vanilla yoghurt
    • 4 tablespoons sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

    1. Drain pears retaining 125ml of the juice. Puree the pears in a blender or food processor.
    2. Place pears, retained juice, yoghurt, sugar, cinnamon and allspice into an ice cream machine. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
