Easy Tandoori Chicken and Capsicum Kebabs

These barbecue tandoori chicken kebabs are easy to make with the chicken being marinated in a tandoori and yoghurt mix then threaded onto a skewer.


Serves: 4 

  • 150ml low-fat natural yoghurt
  • 3 tablespoons tandoori paste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 red capsicum, diced
  • 1 green capsicum, diced
  • 1 onion, diced

Preparation:25min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:45min 

  1. Mix the yoghurt, tandoori paste and lemon juice together.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for 1 hour or more.
  3. Thread onto eight wooden skewers alternating with the capsicum and onion.
  4. Lay the kebabs out on a preheated bbq and cook for 10 minutes on each side.
