    These savoury muffins are easy with the addition of cheese and herbs to a basic muffin recipe. The muffins produced are great for afternoon picnics in the park.

    Serves: 6 

    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup (250ml) milk
    • 1 cup (125g) flour
    • 125g tasty cheddar cheese, grated
    • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Grease a 12 whole muffin tin.
    2. Whisk eggs and milk.
    3. Add all other ingredients and mix. The batter may be lumpy.
    4. Pour into muffin tray then place into a cold oven and turn to 230 degrees C.
    5. Bake 30 minutes then turn off oven and let them stay in the oven for 10 more minutes before serving.
