The cream is boosted with condensed milk then flavoured with coffee and brandy that compliment the crunchie wonderfully.
For ages I have been looking for a recipe for homemade icecream that does not require an icecream maker - this one is just fabulous! SO EASY. I used two cartons of double cream (Elmlea size) and 2/3 tin of condensed milk. That is that basic icecream and I have experimented with different flavours. Crushed up crunchie is amazing, coffee and brandy also, mint choc chip, strawberry. Just add anything! It freezes well with NO CRYSTALS! It defrosts nicely and is easy to scoop.
