    The cream is boosted with condensed milk then flavoured with coffee and brandy that compliment the crunchie wonderfully.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
    • 1 tablespoon brandy
    • 600ml thickened cream
    • 400ml sweetened condensed milk
    • 3 crunchie bars, crushed

    Preparation:10min  ›  Extra time:1hour freezing  ›  Ready in:1hour10min 

    1. Dissolve the instant coffee in the brandy.
    2. Add this to the cream and condensed milk then whisk until it forms soft peaks.
    3. Stir in the crushed crunchie bars.
    4. Pour into a suitable container with a lid and deep freeze. There's no need to even stir it whilst it's freezing.
    5. Take it out of the freezer for 10 minutes before you're ready to serve. Or if you forget, do what I do and give it a 5 second blast on high in the microwave to soften.
