Easy Cherry Jam

    I like to make this tasty jam when cherries are in season and they are on sale; then you can enjoy them all year round.

    Serves: 48 

    • 875g sour cherries, finely diced
    • 1kg sugar
    • 13g pectin

    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. In a large saucepan combine cherries and sugar. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    2. Add pectin; return to a full rolling boil. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly.
    3. Remove from the heat; skim off foam.
    4. Pour hot jam into hot jars, leaving 6mm headspace. Adjust caps. Process for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
