  • 100g margarine
  • 1/4 cup (60g) caster sugar
  • 1 (800g) tin apple pie filling

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees C.
  2. Put the self raising flour, margarine and caster sugar in a bowl then rub with your fingers until it is like breadcrumbs.
  3. In a baking dish spread the fruit filling then put the crumble mix on top.
  4. Cook it for 15 minutes or until crispy brown on top. Leave to cool for 2 minutes then serve.

This is a great recipe...really easy to make. I added a layer of custard on top of the apples and then put the layer of crumble on top. The custard topped it off I think...Plus when this dessert goes cold its super yummy - 07 Aug 2011
