Low Fat Cardamom-Mango Lassi

A little ground cardamom adds a beautiful spicy touch to this healthy mango lassi. You can of course substitute full cream milk and yogurt if you prefer.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1 cup fat-free plain yoghurt
  • 8 cubes ice
  • 2/3 cup (170ml) reduced fat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Granular sweetener (such as Splenda) to taste

  1. Place mango, yoghurt, ice and milk into a blender. Sprinkle in cardamom and sweetener to taste. Puree until smooth, frothy and creamy.
