    These make a great entree or hors d'œuvre for a party. Serve with a variety of dressings or dipping sauces. These also freeze well.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 small onion, chopped
    • 500g chicken mince
    • 3 cups (375g) scone mix
    • 375g grated Colby cheese
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
    • 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Heat oil in a frypan over medium heat. Saute onions until soft and translucent; transfer to a large bowl. Add chicken mince, scone mix, grated cheese, garlic and chilli flakes. Mix well and form into 3cm balls. Place on a non-stick baking pan.
    3. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned.
