This brightly-coloured topping is incredibly easy to make. Serve it warm over vanilla ice cream, cake, apple pie, or any dessert that needs an extra dash of sweetness!

Serves: 8 

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cups thinly sliced rhubarb (about 3-4 stalks)
  • 1/2 cup (125g) white sugar

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. In large frypan, melt butter over high heat. Stir in rhubarb and sugar and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.
