Chilli and Mint Chutney

    This chutney gives anything a nice little kick. Particularly good with Indian curries and on meat sandwiches such as corned beef and lamb.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 onion, quartered
    • 2 fresh green chillies
    • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    1. Blend the onion, green chillies, mint, lemon juice and salt together in a blender until smooth.

    This was tasty, but like others, it did not blend well like I've had in Indian restaurants. I added a bit more liquid, which helped. Tasted good, but the texture wasn't the best.  -  10 Sep 2010  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
