Simple, but full of protein and tastes great. Goes especially well as a base for a rack of lamb or lamb cutlets but also makes a quick and easy dip.

Serves: 2 

  • 1 tin (400g) haricot or cannellini beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

  1. Empty all the contents of the tin into a saucepan and heat through.
  2. Drain, reserving 1 tablespoon of liquid to add back into beans.
  3. Add all other ingredients and mash together well. For a smoother mash, use a food processor.
