Eggs on Toast with Dukkah

    Yes, really its just boiled eggs on toast but with the special nutty and spicy taste of dukkah to make your morning.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 eggs
    • 2 slices wholemeal bread
    • butter
    • 2 tablespoons Herbie's Spices Dukkah
    • salt and black pepper to taste

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Place eggs in a small saucepan of cold water. Bring to a boil, then boil for 3-4 minutes.
    2. Meanwhile, toast bread and spread with butter.
    3. Place a slice of toast onto each of 2 plates, then carefully peel shells from eggs and place eggs on toast.
    4. Gently break open to expose yolk and sprinkle with dukkah, salt and pepper.
    5. Serve with additional dukkah for adding to taste.
