Baked Herb Ricotta

    Baked ricotta is easy to make and tastes fabulous. Serve this as an entrée with roasted tomatoes or as part of a mezze plate.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 500g quality ricotta cheese
    • 2 teaspoons Herbie's Spices Oregano Leaves
    • 1 teaspoon Herbie's Spices Marjoram Leaves
    • 1 teaspoon Herbie's Spices Basil Leaves
    • 2 egg whites
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 30g shaved parmesan

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Mix ricotta until smooth and beat in herbs and egg whites, season to taste.
    2. Pour into a loaf tin, or individual ramekins and bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
    3. Top with parmesan and bake a further 10 minutes.
    4. Turn out and serve as an entrée with roasted tomatoes or as part of a mezze plate.
