    A high energy biscuit, easy to make, soft, addictive and great when studying for exams.

    Serves: 60 

    • 3 bananas, mashed
    • 185g butter or margarine
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup (230g) white sugar
    • 1/4 cup (50g) packed brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    • 2 1/2 cups (310g) plain flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1 1/2 cups (220g) rolled oats
    • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
    • 1/2 cup sultanas

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Mix together in order given making sure that butter or margarine is well mixed in. You can add up to 1/2 teaspoon more of cinnamon if you like spice. More flour may be added if mixture is runny.
    3. Drop by tablespoonfuls on greased baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. Biscuits will be soft.

    This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. The biscuits (cookies) are super soft, even several days after I baked them. I didn't have sultanas, so I used regular black raisins. Otherwise, I followed the directions and got moist, chewy cookies that everyone in my family enjoyed. - 11 May 2013
