Easy and tasty. I added fresh ginger and kept the skin putting whole garlic cloves under the skin. Unfortunately I added too much stock and the chicken basically boiled! Still yummy though.  -  08 Aug 2011

This was really yummy. I might reduce the amount of Soy Sauce next time as it was a little overpowering for me but it was great.  -  15 Nov 2010

This recipe is absolutely fabulous! If you like a sweet taste this is it one of my best recipes ever! Love love love it! I didn't have sesame oil but it was even yummy without. I have searched the internet for a long time to find a whole chicken slow cooker recipe and could't find one unless I came across this one. Thank you so much to the person who shared it with us!  -  20 Sep 2017
