Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil cabbage leaves 2 minutes; drain.
In large bowl, combine 1 cup cooked rice, egg, milk, onion, mince, salt and pepper. Place about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture in the centre of each cabbage leaf, and roll up, tucking in ends. Place rolls in the slow cooker.
In a small bowl, mix together the passata, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls.
I really liked this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing it. My partner loved this recipe, and I even caught him on the phone asking his mother if she showed me how to make it.... thanks to the wonderful recipes on this site and the even more wonderful people who contribute them... my newfound cooking prowess will be our little secret ha ha ha. The only thing I found was that I didn't have enough of the sauce, so I will just double the amount next time (or maybe we were just greedy).
